Ka-Zar #1 (2nd Series, 1974), by John Buscema, was used for Stamp #60. The dinosaur blood -- on both the knife and the T-Rex -- was toned down for the stamp. It's too bad Zabu the Sabre-Tooth wasn't included on this stamp, since it looks like he would have fit (particularly if the stamp had been shifted slightly sideways). Note: This artwork was also used in promo art for Ka-Zar #1. |
