Tracking Marvel Value Stamp Book Auctions
Unfortunately, we no longer have the time to update the auctions page. However, from November of 2002 through October 2005, we tracked Marvel Value Stamp-related auctions on eBay. We included earlier auction information where buyers or sellers retained records and shared the information with us.
The auctions shown here include stamps and books related to both Series A and Series B. We have categorized the auctions into: (1) books with stamps; (2) multiple book auctions; (3) books without stamps; and (4) stand-alone stamp auctions. Auctions involving more than one book have had their sales price "divided" as part of calculating the averages displayed.
We did not track auctions where: (1) the reserve was never met; or (2) there were no bids. We also did not track auctions where the stamp book was substantially damaged, based on either the description or the pictures provided with the auction.
We provide the auctions below for historical purposes, so you can get a ballpark idea of value as of 2005.
