This is sort of an odd one, but a comparison of the shading and details of the Spider-Man on the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #131 does appear to be a match to the Series B Spider-Man puzzle. Reggie, a site visitor, has pointed out that the thugs that Spidey is webbing are from Amazing Spider-Man #107, page 15, panel 1, by John Romita, Sr., and Reggie kindly provided a scan of the page, which you can view here. Perhaps the buildings were drawn from scratch? You can see a larger version of the puzzle on our stamp book tour. |
